Pop Culture 2011

Before heading to Pavilion for the contest we first went for our brunch at the chinese food court near there. I always pass there but never notice that this place is a food court. LOL. But surprisingly the food there is quite nice.

I ordered Char Kueh Teow and it's my fav. dish of all time! If you give me Mee I confirm cannot finish one except for Kueh Teow. I don't know why though. Looking back at this picture makes me feel like eating it again! >_<

This sort of drink is called Pat Boh. The name of the drink kinda funny because for me it's called "Bitch" if I'm not mistaken and also it tasted bad. For me la, so I am unable to finish it until Catherine came along and bought her Ta Fu Fa and Kueh with Soya Bean :D It's more delicious than this awful baverage =,= .

This is Catherine with her food. I forgot what it's called though. I am unfamiliar with any of the Chinese dishes.. only a few la.

The place inside Pavilion we are going is Tokyo Street. The place is narrow but has that Japan feeling "abit"

The event was seriously small and not many people came. It just fill up the small place.

The contest was somewhat confusing because I thought it suppose to look like those people in the picture. When we went there, there were a lot of cosplayers and cross dressers. Catherine and I did found the people who dress up like the one in the picture but didn't saw them while in the event. The only people that was the contestant was mostly cosplayer. Well it did say "Anime".

This one he sew and send to the taylor. It's a game character but I never play the game and I guess it should be interesting to play since I love games too :D

The event was kinda boring a bit but interesting to see people performing and dress up la. Oh and Cath and I had bought tickets to watch Tower Heist. It's really funny some part :) overall it's a good movie la. After that gotten hungry so went back to Tokyo Streets and had our dinner there :D and we bought mochi as well for deserts!

Toy Fair 2011

Today is the day that I go to Toy Fair with Catherine in Midvalley! Luckily yesterday Chee Kang (my classmate) told me about it. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have missed it :O phew! So anyway, we thought of going to Animangaki at Sunway University but it was hard making decision but the biggest was Toy Fair so might as well go there. ^-^

We had our lunch at Manhatten Fish Market!

Catherine keep telling me to diet and we know eating fried food is not good for health but still it's fish and unfortunately there's potato there too, therefore it makes you fat -_- but I don't care my stomach was craving for it . The food was great :) I couldn't finish it because it was a lot but Catherine on the other hand manage to finish it. Oh so fat #_# . 

So after eating we then went straight to the event and we buy RM3 for entry which is a good price ^-^

Guess who we met while roaming inside the event? :) The 2 Gempak artist Kaoru and Keith :D it was a sudden meeting them face to face and I was too shy to ask to take picture with them so I just take la without permission (and I know it's rude >.<). I just LOVE Kaoru here! She's so cute when she's shy :D I was actually trying to take picture of her and Keith bah lol but she thinks I was trying to take picture of Keith only.  Just so adorable >.< !

Then after being Sakai's we saw the most randomness thing.

Itachi (with curly hair -palmface-) fighting two of the Star Wars characters? =_= what? It was somewhat amusing because I could tell that they were rehearsing before starting their so-called-fight because the movement of their fight was fast but overall it was a good performance :) but seriously -_- curly hair? 

Most cosplayer that cosplay as Itachi has curley hair, haiyo-yo-yo.

Last year was a lot of stuff on sale compared to now. That's why when I first went in, it seem kinda small. But some of the anime merchandise was nice also la :) at least there's nothing to regret not buying there hehe. =D

I bought the moon necklace from here. I don't know what anime it's from but I just bought because according to my horoscope sign. My planet is the moon (water) and here's a look see at my necklace :)

I like my necklace so much! Will try to take good care of it.

We played 3 game for this :D and we got 2500 points for 3 of the game ^^ . Won 2 shirt and 1 pen! weee!! XD

So this one we were in the taxi to  head back because was too damn tired and was planning to go to the arcade but my game (pump it up) is not there!!? WTF?

Anyway, at least not regret buy something from there also ^-^ hehehe. Here's me and Catherine's stuff :D and can't wait for the next Toy Fair and whatever event that relate to anime or whatever ^-^ tee hee~ so happi!!
